Rise with the sun from Hong Kong's second summit - PHEONIX SEEING SUN Cup collection (Lantau Peak)

Located on Lantau Island, Hong Kong's second highest peak ——— Lantau Peak is mainly divided into "Feng Peak" and "Huang Peak". Feng Peak, the main peak, is 934 meters above sea level, only 23 meters lower than Tai Mo Shan, the highest mountain in Hong Kong. Huang Peak is 918 meters above sea level. It is famous for sunrise viewing.
Lantau Peak is also known as Lan Tau Shan (Literal Translation: Bald head Mountain) because the middle of the summit is concave like a bald head, and the rocks are bizarre. In the British era, when the British arrived at Lantau Island and asked for the name, the villagers told them "Lan Tau", so Lantau Island was translated as "Lantau".  The name Lantau Peak also derived from the English name of Lantau Island.
The legendary sunrise on Lantau Peak is one of the "Top 10 Natural Scenery in Hong Kong". It is the memory of many Hongkongers and tourists. Many hikers climb to admire its magnificent sunrise!

Brass Inlay Ebony Cup Lid

Ebony wood is hard, lustrous, delicate to the touch, and is a top-grade timber material. It is often used for making furniture and piano keys. We designed it with handmade brass inlays, which further highlights the shape and outline of the mountain.
We hope that the brass inlay on the top can highlight the outlines of each peak. Of which the brass is hand-polished and inlaid by craftsmen, so in addition to being practical, it also adds some delicacy. Whether in the gift set or as a collection, it is also a work of art.
Behind it, the engraving of the four words「鳳凰觀日」(Literal Translation: Phoenix Viewing Sun, also means "to enjoy the sunrise at Lantau Peak") are exactly the words that we saw on the plague at the foot of Lantau Peak.
