We spent four months designing this natural ocean-themed【AQUAMAN Series】Microfibre Compact Swimming Beach Towel.

【Aquaman Series】

With the recent popularity of local camping and mountain climbing, we launched the 《Mountain Lovers Series》to introduce the newly emerging Cantonese term 'Mountain People', which refers to people who love rock climbing and rope activities (called '岳人 (Yamato)' in Japanese). And here in this 《Aquaman ('Sea People') series》, unlike the Japanese term 'あま (Ama)' ('people who live by diving in shallow waters to catch fish and collect sea slugs, pearls, etc.'), broadly refers to people who love water sports (e.g. scuba diving, snorkeling, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, wakeboarding, wakesurfing, etc.).
We hope to highlight the flexibility and vividness of the Cantonese language through our product series.
Our Design

This time, we challenged our illustrator to achieve the most natural and realistic beach composition. The two Chinese characters "Sea People" are almost integrated into the ocean, just as we become one with nature. We hope you will feel the oneness of nature and themselves. Meanwhile, the energy of nature will also encourage us to bravely explore ourselves to live the fullest!

In the design, we specially included the Chinese white dolphin (Sousa chinensis) beloved by Hong Kong people. We are also reminding ourselves to pay attention to ecological conservation, as humans, animals and nature are interconnected. According to WWF, there are only 47 Chinese white dolphins left in Hong Kong waters. Although the dolphin population is stable, they are facing increasingly severe threats. The main causes are human threats, including habitat loss and degradation, fish consumption, and busy sea traffic.
Therefore, we encourage you to protect the remaining Chinese white dolphins and their ecological environment from now on. Before swimming or water activities, or even in daily life, we should consider environmental protection. We believe that every small effort can protect them and allow our future generations to see this pink friendly and unique creature.
